Art in the Park Wine Tasting Welcome Reception – July 28

The Magic Valley Arts Council presents the 58th Annual Arts in the Park in Twin Falls City Park on July 28-29, 2017. The activities will be Friday, July 28 from 5-8 pm and Saturday July 29 from 10 am to 6 pm.

The festival weekend opens Friday from 5-8 pm with a Wine Tasting Welcome Reception, 30 artists booths, food trucks and live music by Em and the Guys featuring Emilee Gomske, Michael Frew, Chris Cawthraw, and Peter Bierma. Food is available from Betty B’s Kitchen and Diane’s Delights, Garden To Go and Mikey’s Kettle Corn.

The cost for the Wine tasting is $10 for four tastings, plus wine by the glass.

Saturday the 26th Annual Kids Art in the Park will kick-off promptly at 9 am with, a half day of visual and performing arts workshops for kids ages 3-14 years. Registration is encouraged and the fee is $5 per child for three workshops. A hot dog lunch is offered for $3.

Following Kids Art in the Park will be more than 30 artist booths, food trucks and summer’s favorite activity, all-you-can-eat ice cream sampling, with the Twin Falls Rotary Club’s Ice Cream Funday from 11:30 am to 3 pm. Admission is $7/adults and $5/kids 11 and under.

Spend the day in Twin Falls City Park enjoying live music and great food while visiting arts and craft vendors, ranging from ceramics, paintings, jewelry and wood carvings. Food is available from Betty B’s Kitchen and Diane’s Delights, Garden To Go and Mikey’s Kettle Corn. Music will be provided by Peter Hansen from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm and The Barking Owls from 3- 6 pm.
