Second Saturday at the Full Moon Gallery presents Making Colors Sing: How to Mix a Harmonious Color Palette with Michelle George
Color mixing and selection is one of the hardest skills to learn when you are starting out with art, and Michelle George is here to guide you through the process! By the end of class, students will understand how to select a color palette and how to mix/blend colors to make their artwork shine.
Students will be led through several exercises using watercolor paints to see the effects of different colors and color schemes, while learning about complimentary, primary, secondary, and tertiary colors, and how to use a color wheel to assist in the artistic process.
This class will focus on watercolor paints, but the lessons learned can be applied to any medium!
All materials provided (but you are welcome to bring your own watercolor supplies if you would like)
No experience necessary — beginners welcome!
