FMG Call for Entry | Ode to a Sandwich & Color Explosion
December 3, 2024 - February 3, 2025
APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN NOW FOR ‘ODE TO A SANDWICH’ AND COMPLEMENTARY EXHIBIT ‘COLOR EXPLOSION’
SHOW DATES ARE MARCH 14 – MAY 10; APPLICATION DEADLINE FEBRUARY 3, 2025.
We’re excited to announce an open call for submissions for two upcoming dual shows: Ode to a Sandwich and Color Explosion!
Ode to a Sandwich invites artists to celebrate the quirky, the everyday, and the humorous side of life through art. This show embraces the playful spirit of creativity, with works that delight in the small joys and peculiarities of existence—like a perfect sandwich. We welcome work with a sense of humor, irony, or joy.
Color Explosion is a tribute to vibrancy and energy, showcasing pieces that explore the powerful impact of color. Artists are encouraged to submit works where color takes center stage, exploding off the canvas to create immersive, emotive experiences.
If your work embodies either humor or a bold embrace of color, we want to see it!
Each application may include up to 10 works, and you may apply up to 3 times for a total of 30 works submitted to the exhibit.
Works are reviewed by a Jury Committee, and all artists selected will be notified in writing on or before February 23.
