This show is exclusively for current Magic Valley Arts Council members and offers an opportunity to showcase the diversity of artistic expression within our community. As a special thank you to our members\, we are waiving the installation fee for this exhibit! Whether your work captures quiet beauty\, bold statements\, or anything in between\, Magic Moments is a chance to share it with others. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, May 10 \n10:00 a.m. – Noon (we will stop accepting walk-ins at 11:30am if classes are full) \nMagic Valley Arts Council – Ground Floor \nCost:  FREE for ages 18 and under \nJoin us for an exciting Second Saturday youth workshop! Kids 18 and under can join in on a new art trend by making artist trading cards\, a fun way to connect and create with other artists! \nYoung artists will be provided with a 3” x 4” card that they can then decorate using their own unique style and personality. We will have several craft stations with different types of mediums\, so your only limit is your imagination! \nParents\, bring your little ones out for a morning of creativity—no registration required! Drop-ins are welcome until 11:30 AM. If the workshop is full when you arrive\, we may ask you to explore the gallery upstairs while waiting 10-15 minutes for a spot to open up. These intrepid heroines served as bilingual telephone operators on the front lines\, helping turn the tide of World War 1. They then returned home to fight a decades-long battle for equality and recognition\, paving the way for future generations. THE HELLO GIRLS was commissioned and premiered by NYC’s Prospect Theater Company to celebrate the centennial of these groundbreaking women.
