DESCRIPTION:APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN NOW FOR ‘SELF PORTRAIT AS…’\nSHOW DATES ARE  SEPTEMBER 12 – OCTOBER 31; APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO AUGUST 15\, 2025.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe invite you to apply to Self Portrait As…\, a gallery show exploring identity through creative transformation. This exhibition encourages artists to depict themselves in imaginative ways\, inspired by the mosaic of experiences\, places\, and elements that shape who they are. If you were a plant\, a landscape\, a season\, or an object\, what would you be? How do these interpretations reflect your journey\, values\, or essence? \nSelf Portrait As… offers a space to share personal stories through inventive self-representation\, allowing viewers a glimpse into the many layers that make up each artist’s unique identity. Join us in this exploration of self\, reimagined. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO APPLY: FMG Application Form\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication Information:\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication Deadline: EXTENDED THROUGH August 15\, 2025\nAll 2D and 3D artists are encouraged to apply.\nEach application may include up to 10 works\, and you may apply up to 3 times for a total of 30 works submitted to the exhibit.\nWorks are reviewed by a Jury Committee\, and all artists selected will be notified in writing on or before August 23.\n\n\n\n\n\nImportant Dates:\n\n\n\n\n\nShow Dates – September 12 – October 31\, 2025\nApplications Open – June 10 – August 15\, 2025\nArtist Acceptance Notification – on or before August 23\nInstallation Fees due – September 9\, 2025\nArtwork Delivery – September 9\, 2025 from 11am – 5pm\nPublic Open House / Artist Reception – September 12\, 2025 from  5-7pm\n\n\n\n\n\nFees:\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication: $20 per 10 works submitted. You may apply up to 3 times per exhibition\, for a total of 30 works submitted per show.\nInstallation: $40 for MVAC Members\, $48 for Not-Yet-Members (yearly MVAC membership begins at $25 – click here for more info) per 5 works accepted.\n25% MVAC Commission on any works sold during the show.\n\nAll artwork will need to installation ready – framed (if applicable) with a suitable hanger on the back\, gallery wrapped canvas with finished edge\, etc. MVAC and all employees does not assume any liability for lost\, stolen\, or damaged artwork while on display. All artists are strongly recommended to carry liability insurance.

SUMMARY:Southeastern Art Show and Market - CALL FOR ENTRY
DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Southeastern Art Show and Market (SEASAM) and SEASAM Youth artist applications are now open to artists from federally recognized Southeastern tribes. Adult artists\, ages 18 and older\, must apply by 5 p.m. Aug. 29. Youth artists\, ages 14-17\, must apply by 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 19. SEASAM will take place Oct. 3-4 in Tishomingo\, Oklahoma.
