DESCRIPTION:Applications are open now for ‘From Music’\nApplication Window October 14 – January 5\, 2026\nShow dates are February 13 – April 3\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Full Moon Gallery is now accepting submissions for our next show From Music\, a community art exhibition focused on the ways music inspires creativity. \nWe’re looking for pieces that are influenced by music in any form. That could mean artwork made with or from sheet music\, pieces inspired by a favorite song or lyric\, or event abstract works that reflect the feeling or rhythm of music. If your art connects to music in some way\, we want to see it. \nWhether you’re working in paint\, collage\, sculpture\, fiber\, or any other medium\, this is a chance to share how music shows up in your creative process. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFMG Application Form\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication Information:\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication Window: October 14 – January 5\, 2026\nAll 2D and 3D artists are encouraged to apply.\nEach application may include up to 10 works\, and you may apply up to 3 times for a total of 30 works submitted to the exhibit.\nWorks are reviewed by a Jury Committee\, and all artists selected will be notified in writing on or before January 13\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\nImportant Dates:\n\n\n\n\n\nShow Dates – February 13 – April 3\, 2026\nApplications Open – October 14 – January 5\, 2026\nArtist Acceptance Notification – on or before January 13\, 2026\nInstallation Fees due – February 10\, 2026\nArtwork Delivery – February 10\, 2026 from 11am – 5pm\nPublic Open House / Artist Reception – February 13\, 2025 from  5-7pm\n\n\n\n\n\nFees:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication: $20 per 10 works submitted. SUMMARY:Public Art Commission Opportunity - City of Rupert
DESCRIPTION:The City of Rupert\, Idaho (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified artists or artist teams to design\, fabricate\, and assist in the installation of a permanent outdoor public artwork at the\nprominent intersection of 7th Street and G Street\, at the end of Fremont Avenue in the City. The City intends this monument to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 2026 and to celebrate the spirit\, heritage\, and shared values of the Rupert\, Idaho community. \nThe City encourages proposals ranging from traditional sculptural monuments to modern or abstract works that speak to Rupert’s history\, identity\, and enduring American values of freedom\, independence\, and community pride. \nProject Goals\n Honor the Nation’s Founding: Mark the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with a lasting and meaningful public artwork.\n Celebrate Local Identity: Reflect Rupert’s history\, culture\, and values—whether agricultural heritage\, pioneering spirit\, or civic pride.\n Create a Landmark: Provide a visually striking\, durable work of art that becomes a recognizable point of pride for residents and visitors while creating a cohesive element in the historic downtown. \n  \nEligibility\nThis opportunity is open to professional artists\, art vendors\, and artist teams residing in the United States.\n Previous experience completing outdoor public art installations is preferred but not required.\n Artists of diverse backgrounds\, perspectives\, and artistic styles are encouraged to apply \n  \nArtwork Guidelines\nThe artwork should:\n Be permanent\, durable\, and low-maintenance\, suitable for Idaho’s four-season climate.\n Be visible and impactful from a distance.\n Be safe for public interaction and able to be placed in the intersection without obstructing pedestrian or vehicle line-of-site requirements in the surrounding area.\n Include interpretive or educational elements if desired (plaques\, integrated text\, etc.).\nThe City is open to a wide range of artistic expressions: traditional figurative sculpture\, abstract monumental art\, or multi-material installations that meet the project’s commemorative purpose. \n  \nBudget\nThe City has identified $35\,000 for this project; however\, the final budget may exceed the amount depending on fundraising and the cost of the selected artwork.\nThis amount must cover all costs related to the design\, engineering\, fabrication\, transportation\, installation\, artist travel\, insurance\, and any other expenses necessary to complete the project. \n  \nProposal Submission Requirements\nInterested artists must submit the following in digital format (PDF preferred) and delivered to Rupert City Hall by deadline of 12/20/2025.\n1. Letter of Interest (1–2 pages)\no Describe your artistic vision\, approach to commemorative or community-focused work\, and why this project interests you.\n2. Concept Sketches or Renderings\no Illustrative images of your proposed design (conceptual level acceptable at this stage).\no Indicate materials\, size\, and installation concept.\n3. Budget Estimate\no Preliminary breakdown showing how the project would be completed within the available funds.\n4. Timeline\no Proposed milestones from design to fabrication and installation\, anticipating completion by mid-late 2026.\n5. Resume / CV (for artist or team members)\no Include past public art commissions or relevant experience.\n6. Portfolio of Past Work\no 5–10 images with descriptions (title\, location\, materials\, budget\, year completed).\n7.
