SUMMARY:FMG Call for Entry - Touched by Fire & Waterworld
DESCRIPTION:Applications will be opening soon for ‘Touched by Fire’ & ‘Waterworld’\nApplication Window June 2 – August 3\, 2026\nShow dates are September 18 – October 30\, 2026\nThe Full Moon Gallery will be accepting submissions soon for our autumn 2026 dual exhibition of Touched by Fire and Waterworld. These exhibits seek to explore the dichotomy and similarities between fire and water\, deserts and oceans\, and forest fires and floods. \nFrom the devastation of a burn to the exquisite beauty of rebirth with baby lodgepole pines and fireweed\, to the power (both destructive and regenerative) of water\, we want to see works that explore that tension and contrast. This is also your chance to share works that address the impacts of climate change – devastating fires\, droughts\, extreme weather\, floods\, rising ocean levels\, and more. \nWe welcome works in any style\, any medium. If your art showcases this contrast and the devastation and beauty that both fire and water can bring\, we want to see it! \nComplete your application here: FMG Application Form \n\n\nApplication Information:\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication Window: June 2 – August 3\, 2026\nAll 2D and 3D artists are encouraged to apply.\nEach application may include up to 10 works\, and you may apply up to 3 times for a total of 30 works submitted to the exhibit.\nWorks are reviewed by a Jury Committee\, and all artists selected will be notified in writing on or before August 10\, 2026\n\n\n\n\n\nImportant Dates:\n\n\n\n\n\nShow Dates – September 18 – October 30\, 2026\nApplications Open – June 2 – August 3\, 2026\nArtist Acceptance Notification – on or before August 10\, 2026\nInstallation Fees due – September 15\, 2026\nArtwork Delivery – September 15 from 11am – 5pm\nPublic Open House / Artist Reception – September 18 from 5pm – 7pm\n\n\n\n\n\nFees:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nApplication: $20 per 10 works submitted. You may apply up to 3 times per exhibition\, for a total of 30 works submitted per show.\nInstallation: $40 for MVAC Members\, $48 for Not-Yet-Members (yearly MVAC membership begins at $25 – click here for more info) per 10 works accepted.\n25% MVAC Commission on any works sold during the show.\n\n\nAll artwork will need to installation ready – framed (if applicable) with a suitable hanger on the back\, gallery wrapped canvas with finished edge\, etc. MVAC and all employees does not assume any liability for lost\, stolen\, or damaged artwork while on display. All artists are strongly recommended to carry liability insurance.

SUMMARY:24th Annual Jazz On The Canyon
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate and raise funds for music education with the 24th annual Jazz on the Canyon at Twin Falls Center for the Arts\, 195 River Vista Place.  Mark your calendars for June 30\, 2026! \nAn evening high above the Snake River Canyon invites you to brush off your dance shoes in preparation for a festive evening of vibrant conversation\, lively music\, exquisite food\, and a fabulous auction of many exciting prizes. \nThe featured performers are the Crescent Super Band\, who have been frequent guest artists with groups such as the Dave Matthews Band\, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy\, Tower of Power\, Journey\, the Rolling Stones\, and the Saturday Night Live Band. \nTables of 8 are $900. Proceeds from the events support the College of Southern Idaho’s MusicFest! summer camp for students\, the Twin Falls Education Foundation\, Magic Valley Music Education Fund\, and the Magic Valley Arts Council’s music education outreach. \nThis event is an early sell out so please purchase your table below\, or click here and complete the form to request an invoice!\nRefund Policy \nNo refunds for seat or table purchases will be given.
