DESCRIPTION:Drawing Basics: Graphite Still Lifes \nwith Jude Metzler \nThursdays\, January 29 – February 19 | 6pm – 8pm \n$65 / MVAC Members \n$80 / Non-Members (membership begins at on $25/year! Click here to join or renew your membership and save.) \nRegister online below\, or call 208-734-ARTS (2787) to sign up! \n  \nFor this class\, students will learn how to properly draw\, shade\, and blend 3-d objects. Each class\, Jude will instruct students through increasingly complex still lifes with subjects ranging from simple shapes up to complicated pieces like skulls and foliage.  \nWe’ll cover specific techniques for: \n\nlight direction and source\nshading and blending\ncreating values in black and white\n\nWhether you’ve drawn before or you are completely intimidated by the prospect\, this is the class for you! Jude will break down the process into simple steps that can be applied to any work of art. \nOpen to all levels\, ages 14 and up.
