DESCRIPTION:WHAT: FREE screening of The Tallest Dwarf \nWHEN: March 31\, 6pm (film begins at 6:15pm) \nWHERE: Sligar Auditorium\, Magic Valley Arts Council\, 195 River Vista Place \nRSVP: Save a seat by RSVPing below! \nEVENT TO FEATURE SCREENING AND SELF PORTRAIT ART ACTIVITY FOLLOWING THE FILM. \n  \nIndie Lens Pop-Up\, presented by ITVS\, INDEPENDENT LENS\, Idaho Humanities Council\, and Magic Valley Arts Council will host a screening of “The Tallest Dwarf\,” featuring a self portrait mixed media art activity following the film. Directed\, written\, and produced by Julie Forrest Wyman\, Jonna McKone\, Lindsey Dryden\, and Shaleece Haas. \nThe Tallest Dwarf follows filmmaker Julie Forrest Wyman as she searches for her place in the little people community and unpacks rumors of dwarfism in her own family. Through intimate stories\, creative collaborations\, and archival history\, the film delves into identity and medicine\, asking whether society should change people or the structures that limit them. \n  \nAbout Indie Lens Pop-Up \nIndie Lens Pop-Up is a community series that brings people together for film screenings and conversations.
