Students will learn about color theory, color mixing and brushwork and practice still life painting. Course covers basic Art History to learn about different painting styles and practice a stylized still life painting based on a selected art style. Students will leave with a better understanding of different periods of art history and how an artist establishes their painting practice or style.

 

Jake Petruzzelli is a designer and artist working cross-media to navigate and express himself while adding a little more color to the world.
