FMG Call for Entry – Touched by Fire & Waterworld

The Full Moon Gallery will be accepting submissions soon for our autumn 2026 dual exhibition of Touched by Fire and Waterworld. These exhibits seek to explore the dichotomy and similarities between fire and water, deserts and oceans, and forest fires and floods.

From the devastation of a burn to the exquisite beauty of rebirth with baby lodgepole pines and fireweed, to the power (both destructive and regenerative) of water, we want to see works that explore that tension and contrast. This is also your chance to share works that address the impacts of climate change – devastating fires, droughts, extreme weather, floods, rising ocean levels, and more.

We welcome works in any style, any medium. If your art showcases this contrast and the devastation and beauty that both fire and water can bring, we want to see it!

Application Information:

  • Application Window: June 2 – August 3, 2026
  • All 2D and 3D artists are encouraged to apply.
  • Each application may include up to 10 works, and you may apply up to 3 times for a total of 30 works submitted to the exhibit.
  • Works are reviewed by a Jury Committee, and all artists selected will be notified in writing on or before August 10, 2026

Important Dates:

  • Show Dates – September 18 – October 30, 2026
  • Applications Open – June 2 – August 3, 2026
  • Artist Acceptance Notification – on or before August 10, 2026
  • Installation Fees due – September 15, 2026
  • Artwork Delivery – September 15 from 11am – 5pm
  • Public Open House / Artist Reception – September 18 from 5pm – 7pm

Fees:

    • Application: $20 per 10 works submitted. You may apply up to 3 times per exhibition, for a total of 30 works submitted per show.
    • Installation: $40 for MVAC Members, $48 for Not-Yet-Members (yearly MVAC membership begins at $25 – click here for more info) per 10 works accepted.
    • 25% MVAC Commission on any works sold during the show.

    All artwork will need to installation ready – framed (if applicable) with a suitable hanger on the back, gallery wrapped canvas with finished edge, etc. MVAC and all employees does not assume any liability for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork while on display. All artists are strongly recommended to carry liability insurance.
