Explore different varieties of media to express your creativity in this Intro to Visual Journaling course! Taught by Alex Hartwig, professor of Art at Robert Stuart Middle School, students will be guided through three distinct techniques across this three week course. Week one will focus on traditional art, week two will cover modern art, and week three will dive into the art of collage. Alex will incorporate art history, composition, and design information throughout his class in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. 

 

If the practice of a daily journal has never attracted you, give visual journaling a try! Lower your stress level and discover emotional regulation through the therapeutic act of creating art.

 

Open to all levels, ages 14 and up. All supplies provided.
