Second Saturday at the Full Moon Gallery presents Watercolor as Music: Painting with Rhythm & Emotion with Leslie Lambert

What does music look like? What does color sound like? In this unique and expressive watercolor workshop, we’ll explore the connection between music and painting. Using rhythm, repetition, contrast, and flow, you’ll learn how to let music guide your brush – creating abstract or semi-abstract paintings inspired by sound.

We’ll begin with short listening and painting exercises to explore how different types of music affect your color choices, brushwork, and energy. Then, you’ll create your own full piece inspired by a favorite song or musical mood.

This class is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike – anyone who wants to loosen up, play with paint, and discover a new way to connect with both music and watercolor.

No experience necessary – just bring an open mind and a willingness to explore.
