What: 2nd Tuesday painting session
When: Tuesday, April 14
Where: Twin Falls Center for the Arts
What time: 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 or so
What to bring: Painting supplies and a painting friend
Who can come: We welcome all painters to join us. Paint in whatever medium you like to use, and bring what you are working on.
Directions: Twin Falls Center for the Arts – MVAC classroom on the second floor.
What will we do:
Signs of Spring: Spring Flowers
Bring along your paint supplies and what you are working on.
You are invited to spend the morning working on whatever painting you have in progress, or something new, if you want. (Tulips?)
Need some inspiration?
How about making a personal “self-care” list for spring? It is such a busy time. Take time for yourself. This is a perfect option for a sketchbook or a card! Doing the artwork is self-care in itself.
Critique?
I hope that you will share what you are working on, and give us a peek at what you are happy with, and also what you need help with.
Sometimes having someone else take a look helps the artist to see what might be an answer to the questions:
- Is it finished
- What is missing
- What should I do next or differently?
- Why does it feel like this just isn’t working
- Have I overworked it?
- Are the values a problem – need more darks?
- Again, am I done?
WHO CAN COME: We welcome all painters to join us.
