Public Libraries serve a mission to provide resources to all community members. A national movement to restrict access to certain media in public libraries has come to Idaho. A new state law requires libraries to move materials considered harmful to minors or risk a lawsuit. Many community members support this law, as well as future restrictions. Others champion the freedom of access to materials, regardless of personal opinions. Charged with the daunting task of following the new library law, how are public libraries navigating this new landscape?
